This is the web page of the Astroparticle Physics Group [A.P.G.] of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Members of the Group were contributing since many years in activities related to Astroparticle Physics, such as the CAST experiment at CERN and the ILIAS project. The initially small group has grown to an interdisciplinary one, with the contribution of scientists from sectors of Astrophysics and Cosmology, Particle and Nuclear Physics and Atmospheric Physics.
Among the new scientific interests of the group are neutrino and high energy gamma ray astronomy.
The group started its participation to the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) project and submitted a proposal for funding to the "Thales" call, coordinating also the contributions from the Greek Institutes NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) and UoA (University of Athens).
